north.five.six. and WME Independent launch sales on Colleen Hoover’s latest adaption REGRETTING YOU at TIFF

Josh Boone’s new film starring Allison Williams, Mckenna Grace, Dave Franco and Mason Thames

Munich/Los Angeles (August 27, 2024) – The film based on Colleen Hoover’s bestselling novel REGRETTING YOU, produced and financed by Constantin Film, has become an irresistible magnet for talent: to be directed by Josh Boone (THE FAULT IN OUR STARS, STUCK IN LOVE), written by Susan McMartin (AFTER) and produced by Robert Kulzer for Constantin Film, Brunson Green (THE HELP), Anna Todd (bestselling author/producer) and Flavia Viotti.

WME Independent is handling the US and north.five.six. is handling international sales of the film. Michael Rothstein and Sam Hall of north.five.six. will serve as Executive Producers along with Oliver Berben of Constantin Film and Emily Magee.

The film stars Allison Williams (GET OUT, M3GAN, GIRLS) as Morgan, Mckenna Grace (GHOSTBUSTERS, THE HANDMAID’S TALE) as Clara, Dave Franco (NOW YOU SEE ME, THE DISASTER ARTIST, 21 JUMP STREET) as Jonah and Mason Thames (THE BLACK PHONE, upcoming live action HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON) as Miller.

Hoover’s beautiful and heartbreaking 2019 novel centers around a family unraveling a series of secrets, lies and regrets. REGRETTING YOU is a heartrending family drama set in Texas that explores mother-daughter relationships, first love, grief, betrayal, and all the messiness in between.

Principal photography is scheduled for March 2025.
