Oliver Berben has been CEO of Constantin Film AG since March 1, 2024.
Oliver Berben studied electrical engineering and aerospace engineering at the Technical University of Berlin. After gaining initial experience in the advertising industry, he founded MOOVIE GmbH in 1996, which has been a subsidiary of Constantin Film AG since 1999. In 2009, Oliver Berben also assumed responsibility for the production division within the management of Constantin Film Produktion GmbH. In January 2017, he was appointed to the Management Board of Constantin Film and built up the newly created division TV, Entertainment and Digital Media.
Oliver Berben has produced more than 200 TV and theatrical films and series. These include feature films such as ELEMENTARTEILCHEN (2006), POPE JOAN (2009), CARNAGE (2011), FRAU MÜLLER MUSS WEG (2014), LOOK WHO’s BACK (2015), TEENOSAURUS REX (2016) and THIS CRAZY HEART (2016). His television and streaming credits include “The Typist” (2018), “Perfume” (2018), “Playing God” (2020), „The Un-Word“ (2020), Ferdinand von Schirach: Enemies“ (2021), „We Children from Bahnhof Zoo“ (2021), „The Allegation“ (2021), „KaDeWe – Our Time is now“ (2021), „The Palace“ (2022), „The Conference“ (2022) and the Netflix global hit and Emmy winner „Dear Child“ (2023). He recently produced the fantasy drama „War of the Kingdoms“ and „Those About To Die“.
